Sephora and Lush, how girly can I get right now?
Sunday’s cool, I guess. It started with a day of a lot of prayer and has ended with a day of pampering.
Sundays are for afternoon coffee.
Sundays are for church.
Sundays are for visiting my grandma…and more praying.
Sundays are for afternoon naps.
Sundays are for sponsored trips to Sephora (Thanks Kasey!).
Sundays are for bath bombs, face masks, and slowness.
Sundays are for rest.
Because tomorrow is the start of a new week.
What do I plan on doing tomorrow? It starts with an errand at 9AM. I have to go see what’s wrong with Jimothy, and then self-improvement or something. I don’t know.
It’s been interesting blogging everyday, because I don’t think I’ve done the same thing twice. It’s only day 17, but also… it’s day 17. As each day goes by, coming closer to day 50- I really haven’t thought that much about the future. And I think that’s good. I am inherently a planner, but if I’ve learned anything since day 1 (and right before those days)- you can’t plan that far ahead. You take deep breaths, you spend time with people you love, you think about what you want to do right here and right now- and then do it. Action. I think. Again, this has been a learning process. There are things I never thought I would and would not have at this point in my life. Like how I thought I would have a job by now, but instead I’m traveling to California for an extended period of time.
One of my good friends truly believes that everything happens for a reason.
P.S. If you want to know what I got today from Sephora/Lush:
Origins Clear Improvement face masks (travel size)
Lash Stash To-Go (5 sample mascaras including: BareMinerals, blinc, Lancome, Too Faced, tarte)
Soap & Glory’s Hand Food
Formula X’s Neon Pink Nail Color (I have no idea what color, I think it’s part of the summer line)
and a bunch of Lush Bath Bombs!
